The Grouting Quality Tester for Bridge Ducts uses the elastic wave (acoustic wave) transmission method to measure the overall grouting compactness of prestressing ducts of bridges. The giant magnetostrictive acoustic source excites the elastic wave on the lock and beam body at one end of the duct respectively, and receives the elastic wave signal on the lock and beam body at the other end of the duct. The grouting compactness can be determined by analyzing the propagation characteristics of the elastic wave in the duct and beam body.
