The Qianjiang-Zhangzhou-Changzhou Railway starts from Qianjiang District, Chongqing City, and passes through Xianfeng County and Laifeng County of Hubei Province, Longshan County, Yongshun County, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City and Cili County of Hunan Province, and then to Taoyuan County and Dingcheng District of Changde City. , arrived at Changde Railway Station. The total length of the planned railway line is 340 kilometers, and the estimated project amount is 38.44 billion yuan.
The Guizhou-Zhangzhou-Changzhou Railway is a transportation channel connecting northwestern Hunan, southwestern Hubei and southeastern Chongqing. After completion, it will become a fast-track channel for convenient passenger and cargo exchanges among multiple urban agglomerations such as "Chongqing Chengdu Urban Agglomeration", "Central China Urban Agglomeration" and "South China Urban Agglomeration". The Guizhou-Zhangzhou-Changzhou Railway will connect Chengdu-Chongqing, Beijing-Guangzhou, Zhejiang-Jiangxi and other railway lines. After completion, it will not only effectively promote the development of the underdeveloped areas along the line, but also help to build the eastward exit channel of the Chengdu-Chongqing area and promote the exchanges between the East, China and the West.
According to the schedule, the construction of the Guizhou-Zhangzhou-Changzhou Railway started in 2014. The design speed is 200 kilometers per hour. The total construction period of the project is 5 years and 6 months, of which the construction period is 4 years and the commissioning operation is about one year. After completion, it only takes 3 hours to take the train from Chongqing to Changsha, which is nearly 7 hours less than taking the Yuhuai line.
